Day 8

It is very late. We took some unexpected detours today that added many hours onto our trip. We didn't get to Billings, MT until 9:30. The girls aren't posting anything tonight and mine will be brief. Early rise tomorrow for our 7 hr trip tp Pocatello, Idaho.

This picture was taken on our first detour. Beautiful, huh? Just the sound of a small waterfall in the background. We drove a loop of road around Deadwood, WY thru Lead thru Spearfish. The end of the trip near SPearfish went through Spearfish Canyon which has rocks older than the Grand Canyon!
