On Route 66, back in the day, this was a gas station owned by Ford-Mobil (maybe? Can't remember) Anyway, it is now a restaurant with the gas pumps still there. It was THE place to get gas - probably one of the few. If you look carefully, the word FOOD is at the top. It's like that because it used to say FORD in the 1920's-1930's and to preserve as much of the history as possible, just the R was changed.
