DAY 26

This is how we started our day today -- with the moon setting. We saw this through the window from where we ate breakfast at the hotel. Of course I had to take a picture. We left today at 6:30 am to go to Moab, Utah to go to Arches National Park. It was a long day but well worth it. I took 258 pictures of rocks today -- and I don't even like rocks! The landscape was so awe inspiring that it was hard not to.

Right now I'm killing 2 birds with 1 stone. I promised the girls that they could go in the pool tonight - no matter what time we got back from Arches. Well, that time was 8:20. Any parent out there would not want to be taking kids to the pool right now after 9 hours of driving and 4 hours of walking/climbing rocks in 100 degree temp. So what is it I'm doing?? I am sitting outside with the door to the pool propped open and I am blogging while watching the girls. Yes, Dad, I promise that I could reach the girls in 3 steps if I needed too. :) I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do the pool thing and blog later without crashing.
