Today my sister Danielle showed up to surprise the girls...and boy were they surprised! I took the girls to Denny's for breakfast and Bob "went to work to pick something up". Actually, he went to the airport to to get Dani. The girls gave big hugs when they realized it was Dani standing next to Bob in the parking lot of Denny's. We then went into the city to be tourists again. We took Dani to the pier to see the seals, Boudin restaurant for bread bowls of chowder and to Ghiradellis for ice cream. This picture is from the Golden Gate Bridge. Before we went into the city itself, we walked the length of the bridge. 1.7 mile walk was great exercise. It was windy and cold though. I don't think the temp got passed 70 degrees all day. It was mostly around 60,, but we were prepared with jackets. Bob was with us too -- he took the picture.
