Day 6
What has about 5 hairpin turns, three extremely narrow one car tunnels, thousands and thousands of trees and hundreds of spires of rocks? Needles Highway is the answer. This is the spire at the top of Needles Highway. It is called the Eye of the Needle. The picture doesn't show how incredibly tall this rock is. I was just about sitting in the ground to take this picture. This road was extremely curvy - most times we drove about 15-20 miles per hour. The road goes through Custer State Park. We had to pay $5 a person for a park pass -- it was definitely worth it!
