Day 11


This is a ridiculously large lava rock left over from a bunch of lava eruptions in this area of Idaho over the last 12,000 years. It's in a area called the Great Rift. You might get a sense of how big this is by looking to the right of the rock..maybe you can see the girls standing next to it? This place is called Craters on the Moon National Monument and Preserve. The entire area looks as if you are in a crater with lava rocks all around.
